So if you haven't already guessed, I am currently living in Japan. Everything is different here than in the US. They even open bags of potato chips differently. Seriously, I cannot physically pull apart the bag in the "traditional" manner. They always provide some sort of slit or cutout so you can easily tear packages open their way though. Oh and you may be thinking, aha but they do have potato chips! Yeah, they do, but they're different. I thought I bought sour cream and chives yesterday but it turned out to be seaweed and maybe miso(?). Surprisingly, they were good. Thats just one out of a million things though, as you'll soon find out. Anyway, I take a lot of pictures here (in and around Tokyo) cause people need to see some of this stuff too!
That video was of blowfish or "fugu." I thought I was passing the entrance of a pet shop, but low and behold, that was dinner in the window. Blowfish are poisonous and fugu literally means "river pig." Although I've probably unknowingly eaten worse, I'll have to pass on this one.

Speaking of fish:
This is the Ameyokocho Street Market in Ueno - Tokyo, Japan
You would never walk down an alley next to a subway to find your dinner in America, but you can get fresh fish here everyday. If its not fresh I think they get caned or something. Don't quote me on that but I know they take freshness very seriously here. Some people call Ameyokocho Market a must-see on different traveler's websites. I would too if I liked shopping and/or looking at weird looking fish that are looking right back at me.
Here's some reviews and how to get there. I'd just get you lost:
